Raniyah joined McKinley Research Group in 2022 and brings a background in socioeconomic analyses, consulting, and tourism to her position. Raniyah moved to Alaska in 2005, where she worked in the tourism industry for 15 years. In 2020, she managed a 7-month-long universal income program in Skagway in response to the pandemic-induced economic halt. Raniyah was appointed as a commissioner of Skagway’s Planning and Zoning Commission and served until her move to Anchorage in 2022.
Raniyah holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
