Weather began her career with McDowell Group as an intern with her primary focus being the Alaska Visitor Statistics Program. After receiving her bachelor’s in Anthropology from Colby College, she rejoined the firm as a research analyst for the Alaska Geographical Differential Study. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Program Evaluation from Michigan State University.
Weather’s professional interests include health and social services, education, and Alaska Native interests. She has experience working with an array of primary and secondary data sources including U.S. Census demographics and multiple public health datasets.
Prior to joining McDowell Group, Weather served as Tourism Supervisor for Douglas Island Pink and Chum (DIPAC), where she oversaw tourism and retail operations of the Ladd Macaulay Visitor Center. Weather was born in Cordova, and raised in Juneau. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, fishing, biking, swimming, and traveling.
