Senior Healthcare Consultant
Rachael specializes in enhancing tribal health and education, with expertise in policy, data analysis, executive interviews, hospital and clinic operations, and process flow. Rachael has experience writing, reviewing, implementing, and evaluating federal and state grants.
Prior to joining McDowell Group, Rachael worked at SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium as the Senior Patient Access Manager. There, she optimized revenue cycle operations to support enhanced financial performance and operational alignment to improve patient care. She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Rachael holds a Master of Public Health and Master of Public Administration from Columbia University with an undergraduate degree from Carroll College in Political Science and Communications. She is a member of the Little Shell Band of Chippewa Indians and descendant of the Blackfeet Nation in Montana. She enjoys hiking with her husband and golden retriever Sunny.
