Andy is a research analyst and project manager specializing in seafood market analysis, feasibility studies, and economic impact studies. Mr. Wink’s investigation of illegal Russian crab and the impact it has on Alaska crab fishermen was featured in a Wall Street Journal article in April 2013. He works closely with the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute – a long-time McDowell Group client – and is a regular presenter at the Pacific Marine Expo.

Andy holds bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. He recently moved back to Minnesota to be closer to family after spending 10 years in Alaska. He enjoys fishing, softball, sabermetrics, and hiking.
